A talented Sicilian rockabilly trio is called to Texas to challenge the best American musicians. In five at Austin’s prestigious Ameripolitan festival in the “Best Rockabilly Group” category, Don Diego and his trio of boys in cowboy hats and boots will have to prove that they can play better than the others. But above all to have the famous “steel balls”.
“Greetings From Austin” is not only a story of music and passion but also the story of a clash between two distant worlds which, however, thanks to Don Diego, meet: on the one hand the imagination of the Far West, of the frontier, of a provincial America; on the other, the Sicilian nature that has always been nourished by cultural mixes.
