Songs with other Strangers

October 2010. Nine extraordinary musicians (Hugo Race, John Parish, Rodrigo D’Erasmo, Stef Kamil Carlens, Manuel Agnelli, Steve Wynn, Giorgia Poli, Cesare Basile, Marta Collica) meet for a few days to try some songs to bring in concert in Ravenna, Turin, Florence and Rome. Someone had met before but they had never all played together before. There isn’t a single frontman, and some of them even swap instruments between songs. The concerts are great and the nine friends promise to do it again, perhaps to record an album, but it’s very difficult to bring everyone back together in the same place. One day, who knows …
