Italy-based based distributor Berta Film has closed several deals for Hot Docs audience favourite documentary “How To Change The World” . Channel 8 in Israel, NRK in Norway, TVP Kultura and TV3 in Catalonia have all licensed the film that tells the thrilling story of Greenpeace.
The film sales have been handled by Berta Film since the beginning of the year. “It’s an exceptional story that inspires, thrills and entertains, so I’m really happy that more and more broadcasters are deciding to share the film with their audiences”, Mutolo says.
Besides Europe, Berta Film is promoting the film in Asia and South America. Numerous licensings are in course on all continents, Mutolo sustains.
“We believe that Jerry Rothwell’s film documents an essential part of the development of modern environmental movement, so it’s history and meaningful”, Mutolo says.
Director Jerry Rothwel’s new film “Sour Grapes” (co-directed with Reuben Atlas) world premiere will take place at Hot Docs 2016.
Berta Film is attending Hot Docs 2016 with a large Italian delegation (25 professionals, 1 project and 2 broadcasters at the Forum) supported by ICE Toronto and Doc/it – Italian Documentary Association
