Berta Film is bringing its first interactive documentary to the international market, at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen: the web-doc Setteponti Walkabout a web doc by Gianfranco Bonadies, Gianpaolo Capobianco, Michele Sammarco and produced by MACMA.
The upcoming project (soon to be released in film festivals and event) is an interactive journey that involves documentary film, animation, illustration, sound design and archive material of various nature to discover the stories of the Setteponti Road, one of the most beautiful itineraries that connects Florence and Arezzo (Italy, Tuscany).
Along the Setteponti Road, territory of infinite stratifications, a world is in extinction. Its last traces forcefully unreveal, while new realities arise from those furrows and those marks to build a new world. From the last taces of an endangered world, the peasent world; to the memories tied to the Second World War, between horrors and commotion; to the realities that inhabit the territory, between ancient traditions and offsets, are the three chapters that articulate the story.

THE RESIDENCY
Setteponti Walkabout is a residency offered to four under thirty-five artists for the making of a web doc on the Setteponti Road (“Sevenbridges”)
A collective experience, fisical and spiritual, immersed in nature, in the name of discovery and journey.
The story of an ancient road and a land rich in traditions through a creative and innovative training and producing process.
A visual and audible diary of wondered paths, encounters, and all lived experiences.
